An excellent discovery of these German blackened postmetallers, heard ruefully from a distance at Arctangent. Still, this excellent album on Pelagic Records makes up for it. Constantly shifting sounds and textures, occasional electronic inputs, but at its heart harsh and heavy riffing and roaring, rasping vocal, entwined with more ethereal thoughtful breaks. Gatefold sleeve with plenty of art to appreciate.
